A tragic tractor accident in Bhaktapur on Saturday claimed the life of one person and injured five others.
According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Dhundiraj Neupane, the accident occurred when tractor number [tractor number] overturned. The deceased has been identified as 45-year-old Harigobind Suwal, a resident of Changunarayan Municipality-5. He succumbed to his injuries during treatment.
Five individuals who were also on the tractor sustained injuries:
- Radhika Awal (35)
- Gopal Koju (60)
- Radheshyam Sitikhu (44)
- Purnakesi Shilpkar (74)
They received general treatment at Bhaktapur Hospital and have been discharged.
The tractor driver, 48-year-old Ganesh Suwal of Bhaktapur Municipality-2 Byasi, is currently undergoing treatment at Bhaktapur Hospital for his injuries.
