This year has started on the right foot if we talk about video game releases, given that in a few weeks several titles have been released to the delight of those who are waiting for new products, either in the form of original mechanics or even remasters of past installments. One of the most anticipated is Ninja Five-O, as it is a spiritual successor to Tecmo’s Ninja Gaiden saga; and fortunately, we already know when we will be able to try it.
The iconic video game, originally released for Game Boy Advance in 2003, will make its long-awaited return on February 25. Konami has confirmed that this new version will be available for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and PC through Steam, with a price of $24.99. From now on, players can reserve their digital copy.
In this adventure, players take on the role of Joe Osugi, a detective who uses his Ninjutsu skills to fight crime and protect the city of Zipangu. The plot is marked by intense confrontations against criminals and bosses such as the fearsome Mad Mask, all while solving high-risk situations, such as bank robberies and kidnappings.

The new version promises to improve the gaming experience with updated mechanics, including the ability to save and resume progress at any time, as well as a time trial system that challenges players to complete stages before time runs out. These additions seek to balance the difficulty of the game and make it accessible to a wider audience, without losing the essence of the original title.
The re-release of Ninja Five-O not only seeks to attract a new generation of players, but also offer long-time fans the opportunity to relive this classic adventure with a renewed focus. With its arrival on modern platforms, the game is emerging as a tribute to retro action with touches of innovation.
