Nicklas Bendtner, a controversial 36-year-old Danish footballer who got rid of Real Madrid and Barcelona and who retired in 2021 after 14 years as a professional, has been involved in a knife attack while visiting New York.
The former Arsenal man avoided being injured while his group was attacked by an individual, 25-year-old Joshua Zinberg, who was eventually arrested and charged with attempted murder.

One of Bendtner’s companions was stabbed and suffered injuries to his face and ears.
Nicklas Bendtner revealed that a member of the group, who is also a former professional footballer, was stabbed and subsequently rushed to hospital.
The victim, 55, was treated for injuries to his face and ears at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York.
