Kathmandu: Former Queen Ratna Rajya Lakshmi Shah, 97, was admitted to Norvic International Hospital in Thapathali on Sunday evening due to a chest infection.
While doctors have confirmed the infection, they have assured that her condition is not critical.
Ratna Shah, the wife of the late King Mahendra, continues to reside in Mahendra Manzil within the Narayanhiti Palace complex, even after the departure of King Gyanendra.
