By A Staff Reporter, Kathmandu, Nov. 3: The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) bade farewell to the Nepal Women's U19 team on Monday ahead of its participation in the Belt and Road series in China from November 3 to 8, as part of preparations for the ICC U19 Women's T20 World Cup.

The farewell programme was held at Hotel Amarawati in Gaushala. Nepal will play six matches against Thailand, China and Hong Kong, facing each opponent twice.

Captain Sony Pakhrin said the team had benefited from the closed camp, which focused particularly on improving the players' fitness ahead of the preparatory series. "We have worked hard during our closed camp, and our sole focus is getting ready for the biggest stage," she said.
