Sunsari, Nepal: A joint operation by the Nepal Police and Armed Police Force has resulted in the seizure of a significant amount of marijuana in the Sunsari district.
On [Date], a team of officers from the Armed Police Security Base Chatara and Nepal Police apprehended eight sacks and three tubes of marijuana, totaling 245 kilograms, at Shisaulighat in Barahakshetra Municipality-6. The contraband was being transported from north to south via the Saptakoshi River.
The seized marijuana and related materials have been handed over to the Mahendranagar Chakraghatti Area Police Office for further investigation. Police authorities are currently searching for the individuals involved in the smuggling operation.
