The regional committee of the Nepali Congress has chosen 7 nominees for the upcoming House of Representatives by-election in Ilam-2 on April 27.
Following a joint meeting of provincial representatives and Mahasamiti members, Bhesraj Acharya, Dambar Bahadur Khadka, Keshav Thapa, Nagendra Kumal, Ramesh Lingden, Chandramaya Limbu, and Shantikala Rai Tamang emerged as the party’s recommended candidates.
These names will be submitted to the provincial working committee by March 21, which will then forward them to the central committee by March 23.
