The meteorological department has issued a warning for heavy rainfall in isolated areas of Gandaki, Lumbini, and Sudurpaschim.
Similar weather conditions are expected to persist overnight, with light to moderate showers and thunderstorms in Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim, and occasional rainfall in other provinces. Heavy rain is possible in isolated parts of Gandaki.
Given the heightened risk of landslides, floods, and erosion, the weather division has urged residents of Gandaki, Lumbini, and Sudurpaschim to take necessary precautions to safeguard themselves and their property.
