After Gujarat opted to bowl first, Nepal capitalized with a dominant performance, totaling 181 runs for the loss of seven wickets in their allotted 20 overs.
The foundation for Nepal’s strong total was laid by opening batsmen Kushal Bhurtel and Aasif Sheikh. The duo established a formidable opening partnership of 125 runs, with Bhurtel contributing a solid 67 runs and Sheikh powering through to an impressive 85 runs. Both batsmen scored vital half-centuries for their team.
For Gujarat, Jayamet Patel was the standout bowler, claiming three crucial wickets for his side. He was well-supported by Arya Desai and Drushant Soni, who each picked up two wickets.
