Nepal’s journalists have staged a protest outside the Kathmandu Police Headquarters, Bhadrakali, demanding the release of senior journalist Kishor Shrestha.
The Nepal Journalists’ Federation organized the protest in support of Shrestha’s release and press freedom. The event drew participation from journalists and advocates of press and expression freedom.
The protest is a show of solidarity with Shrestha, who has been detained, and a call for the protection of press freedom in the country.
