Nepal and Yemen fought to a thrilling 2-2 draw in their final match of the second round of the FIFA World Cup 2026 Asian qualifiers. The match was held at the Prince Mohammad Bin Fahd Stadium in Dammam, Saudi Arabia.
Sanjeeb Bista and Gillespye Jung Karki found the back of the net for Nepal, while Yemen’s goals came from Nasser Al-Gahwashi and Mohammed Al-Dahi.
Despite the valiant effort, Nepal finished bottom of Group H with only 1 point from their 6 matches. Yemen ended their campaign with 5 points.
