The Nepal Cricket Association (CAN) held a farewell ceremony to send off the Nepali cricket team as they departed for Canada to participate in the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup League 2. The team, along with its management staff, will compete in both one-day and T20I matches during the tour.
In the League 2 series, Nepal will face Canada on September 16th and 22nd, and Oman on September 18th and 24th. Following the League 2 matches, a triangular T20I series will be held involving Nepal, Canada, and Oman. Nepal will play against Canada on September 28th and October 1st, and against Oman on September 29th and October 2nd.
After completing their Canadian tour, the Nepali cricket team will travel to the United States for another League 2 series. The series will include both triangular matches and T20I matches between Nepal, the United States, and Scotland.
CAN has announced a 16-member squad for the Canada tour. Additionally, Jagat Tamta has been appointed as a consultant coach for both the Canada and United States tours.
