Kathmandu: Kevin Mitchell, Managing Director of Sector Operations at the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC), arrived in Nepal on Monday for a week-long visit. His trip aims to assess the progress of the MCC-Nepal Compact and meet with government officials and MCA Nepal representatives.
Mitchell brings over three decades of experience in financial management and has dedicated the past 15 years to MCC. His visit underscores the US government’s commitment to supporting Nepal’s development through the MCC compact, which is focused on enhancing road and energy infrastructure.
The MCC-Nepal Compact is a significant grant-funded project aimed at bolstering Nepal’s economic growth and development. Mitchell’s visit is expected to provide valuable insights and support to ensure the successful implementation of the compact.
