Solukhumbu: A 42-year-old man was rescued by armed police after being buried in a mudslide in Solududhkunda Municipality-6 Dorpu.
Tej Bahadur Tamang, a resident of Dudhkoshi Rural Municipality-5, was working on installing a wire mesh wall when the incident occurred. He was trapped under a mound of mud and required immediate assistance.
Armed police personnel from the Solukhumbu-based unit responded to the emergency and successfully rescued Tamang. He sustained injuries to his head and waist and was subsequently transported to District Hospital Phaplu for medical treatment.
