Tanahun district faces a search and rescue operation after a man went missing in the Seti River on Wednesday morning.
The missing individual, identified as 55-year-old Tal Bahadur Thapa from Bhadgaon, Vyas-1, was reportedly collecting firewood near Chhabdi Dobhan in Vyas-13 when he was swept away by the current.
Superintendent of Police Apil Bohora confirmed the incident and stated that a search party of 15 personnel, led by Police Inspector Mohan Kumar Khadka, has been deployed from Tanahun to locate Thapa.
