Pathari: A 60-year-old man was found dead in his home in Pathari, Morang on Saturday morning. The victim, Chandra Bahadur Tamang, was discovered with apparent stab wounds in his home at Mayalu Chowk, Pathari Shanishchare Municipality-7.
Local police suspect foul play in the death and believe a sharp weapon was used. The victim’s son-in-law, Rabin Rai, who was living with him, is currently missing and is believed to be involved in the incident.
Chandra Bahadur was living alone at the time of the murder as his wife and daughter were working abroad. His son-in-law, Rabin Rai, also resided nearby.
According to police investigations, a dispute between the two men had occurred the previous evening. Neighbors alerted authorities after discovering the victim’s body on Saturday morning.
The police are currently investigating the incident and are searching for the missing son-in-law.
