Jhapa: A 58-year-old man drowned in a canal near an agricultural farm in Mechinagar Municipality, Jhapa.
Punya Prasad Satyal, a resident of Kakarbhitta, was found deceased in a canal located on Chandra Kafle’s land in Madan Basti.
Local authorities are investigating the cause of the drowning.
