Man Dies Kailali

A 30-year-old man, Suresh Bhul, from Gauriganga Municipality-11 of Kailali district, succumbed to injuries sustained during a beating incident.

According to District Police Office spokesperson Kabindrasingh Bohora, Bhul passed away on Monday while undergoing treatment at Nisarga Hospital in Dhangadhi.

Five individuals—Dharma BK, Vishal BK, Jang Bhul, Prakash Bhul, and Rama Rawal—all from the same locality, have been apprehended by the police on suspicion of involvement in the assault.

It has been reported that the deceased, Bhul, was an active member of the National Federation for the Right to Information, Kailali, and held the position of District Joint Secretary of the National Dalit Journalists Association.

The National Association of Dalit Journalists, Kailali, has extended its condolences to the bereaved family and demanded swift action against those responsible for the incident.

Preliminary investigations conducted by the police suggest that Bhul was subjected to a brutal gang beating on Saturday night, allegedly due to accusations of goat theft.
