A tragic accident claimed the life of 37-year-old Dikpal Syangtan from Makawanpurgadhi rural municipality-8, Makwanpur, on Tuesday night. Syangtan died from electrocution.
According to locals, the incident occurred in Syangtan’s garden. Ram Bahadur Ghising, another resident, was attempting to untangle a wire from an electric pole when he came into contact with live electricity. Sadly, Ghising died at the scene.
The District Police Office Hetauda spokesperson, DSP Laxmi Bhandari, confirmed that officers from the Bhimphedi area police office responded to the incident on Tuesday night and are currently investigating the cause.
