A devastating landslide in Bisauna, Musikot Municipality Ward No. 1 of Gulmi District has claimed the lives of four people.
The landslide, triggered by heavy rainfall, destroyed two houses, burying 48-year-old Gore BK, 67-year-old Hukum BK, 2.5-year-old Riansa BK, and 66-year-old Musuri BK.
Two other individuals, Muna BK, and Bishnu BK, were rescued from the rubble and are currently receiving medical treatment.
The incident occurred on Tuesday morning when a large rock dislodged from the hillside and buried the homes of Bishnu BK and Hukum BK.
