The Boudha Police Circle has arrested a 38-year-old man from Pahelopul in possession of a firearm and ammunition. The individual, identified as Mim Singh Lama, hails from Roshi Rural Municipality-5 in the Kavre district.
According to District Police Complex Kathmandu SP and Spokesperson Nawaraj Adhikari, Lama was apprehended near Pahelopul while traveling in a jeep (Ba 18 Cha 8361). Witnesses reported seeing him carrying a weapon.
Upon searching the vehicle, police recovered a semi-automatic pistol (type unspecified) and four rounds of ammunition. Lama is now under investigation for illegal possession of arms and ammunition.
