The Dhanusha District Court has extended the detention of Kantipur Media Group chairman Kailash Sirohiya for three additional days. Judge Yaduraj Sharma of the single bench granted the police request to hold Sirohiya for further investigation.
Sirohiya was initially arrested on May 21st on allegations of citizenship irregularities. He has been undergoing treatment at Kavya Hospital under police supervision for the past three days due to high blood pressure and heart problems.
