Sindhuli: A jeep carrying four passengers plunged into the Sunkoshi River in Golanjor Rural Municipality-1, Sindhuli district. The incident occurred near Kundule on the Madhya Pahadi Lokmarga.
Local authorities, including the police, were immediately alerted to the accident. Upon reaching the scene, they discovered that one of the passengers had managed to escape the vehicle and was taken to Khurkot Community Hospital for treatment. The fate of the remaining three passengers remains unknown.
A team of ten personnel from the Armed Police Force’s Disaster Management Base in Khurkot has been deployed to the area to conduct search and rescue operations.
