The newly released teaser for the Bollywood film ‘Ulajh’ showcases Janhvi Kapoor in a captivating new role as a young IFS (Indian Foreign Service) diplomat. Departing from her usual romantic and dramatic roles, Kapoor’s character appears entangled in a dangerous international conspiracy that hints at espionage and diplomatic intrigue.
The 56-second teaser offers glimpses of a high-stakes world of betrayal and deception. The film follows the story of a diplomat from a distinguished, patriotic family who finds herself in the crosshairs of a dangerous conspiracy far from home.
Adding a touch of local flavor, aerial views of Kathmandu suggest a connection between the story and Nepal. Last year, parts of the film were reportedly shot in Kathmandu, arranged by Icefall Productions.
Kapoor shared the teaser on Instagram, inviting viewers to “Enter the world of lies, deceit and betrayal” with ‘Ulajh’s theatrical release on July 5th. The film is directed by Sudhanshu Saria and produced by Junglee Pictures.
