Palpa, Nepal – A fatal car accident occurred in Palpa district on Sunday night, resulting in the death of an Indian tourist.
The incident took place around 11:30 PM on the Ranimahal road section of Tansen Municipality-1 Narandanda. A car with Indian license plates, UP 14 DN 104, traveling towards Ranimhal was involved in the accident.
The driver, 28-year-old Bikas Pathak from Uttar Pradesh, India, sustained critical injuries and was rushed to Mission Hospital. Unfortunately, medical professionals pronounced him dead upon arrival.
According to the District Police Office Palpa, other tourists in the vehicle were unharmed. The accident occurred while the group was traveling from Tansen, the district headquarters, to Ranimhal for their stay.
Local authorities are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the accident to determine the cause and identify any contributing factors.
