Siraha: A passenger bus overturned on the Mirchaiya-Katari highway at Bakri Bazar, Mirchaiya Municipality-7, injuring five people.
The accident occurred at around 11:30 AM on Friday when bus No. Na 3 Kha 7034, traveling from Katari to Mirchaiya, failed to brake and overturned.
Among the injured, a 5-year-old girl is in critical condition and has been referred to Biratnagar for advanced medical care. The other four injured are being treated at a local health facility.
DSP Panchkumar Bakhu of the Area Police Office, Mirchaiya, confirmed the incident and stated that further investigations are underway to determine the exact cause of the accident.
