A tragic motorcycle accident occurred last night at Shanti Chowk, Chitwan, resulting in the death of the motorcyclist. The incident took place on the East-West Highway in Ratnanagar Municipality-3.
A motorcycle, bearing the registration number Bagmati Pradesh No. 06-003 Pa 4851, was involved in a collision with a truck. The motorcyclist, identified as Jiban Magrati, sustained severe injuries and was immediately rushed to Bakulahar Hospital in Ratnanagar for emergency medical treatment. Unfortunately, despite efforts to save his life, Jiban succumbed to his injuries at approximately 2:42.
The truck driver, Shyam Sunder Sahani, a 36-year-old resident of Bara Gadhimai Municipality-5, has been detained by the police for further investigation into the accident.
