Kathmandu, Nepal – A wave of excitement has swept across Nepal as football fans eagerly await the final match of the SAFF Women’s Championship between Nepal and Bangladesh. The anticipation has led to long queues forming outside ticket sales centers since early Wednesday morning, despite the match not kicking off until 6:30 PM.
After the overwhelming response to the semi-final match against India, where the stadium was overcapacity, the All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) has implemented stricter measures for the final. To avoid a repeat of the situation, ANFA has canceled its agreement with Mt. Everest Sports and Events Pvt. Ltd. and is now selling tickets directly.
Limited tickets will be available for purchase at Jawalakhel Sports Ground, ANFA Headquarters, and the Army Officers’ Center. General tickets will be priced at Rs. 500, while VIP parapet tickets will cost Rs. 1000. ANFA has confirmed that only 11,000 general tickets and 1,000 VIP tickets will be sold.
Nepal’s historic victory in the semi-final has ignited a nation, and fans are eager to witness their team lift the SAFF Women’s Championship trophy for the first time.
