Eintracht Frankfurt is going all out to return to the Champions League and have a great season. They are third in the Bundesliga and second in the Europa League… and they have invested 26 million euros to take Elye Wahi from Olympique de Marseille in this winter market.

The forward, who signs a contract until 2030 with the Frankfurt team, arrives for a figure to take into account, according to Fabrizio Romano: 26 million euros in transfer fee, three million bonuses and Marseille, in addition, keeps 12% of a future sale.

Wahi, 22 years old and a U23 international with France, has not been able to shine in Marseille: just three goals in 14 games for those from the south of France. He had just made 12 at Lens and 19 with Montpellier in 2022-23, the season in which he ‘exploded’.

At 22 years old, Wahi has already moved more than 80 million euros in transfers between what Lens paid to Montpellier, Marseille to Lens… and now Eintracht to Marseille.
