Panchkhal, Kavre – A tragic truck accident occurred on Araniko Highway near Saitis Kilo Keraghari in Panchkhal Municipality-5, Kavre district on Thursday afternoon. The incident resulted in the fatal injury of the truck driver.
The truck, bearing the registration number Ba 5 Kha 1281, was traveling from Dhulikhel towards Panchkhal when it veered off the road and plunged approximately 70 meters down a slope. The driver, identified as 28-year-old Ramesh Thada from Marin Rural Municipality-1 of Sindhuli, sustained critical injuries in the accident.
Despite immediate medical attention at Dhulikhel Hospital, Thada succumbed to his injuries. The local police authorities, Kavre District Police Office, are currently investigating the cause of the accident.
