Drama for Tottenham: they are left without a starting goalkeeper. And the 0-4 against City has been expensive for them. Guglielmo Vicario, international for Italy, underwent surgery today after suffering a fractured ankle.
This was reported by Tottenham on their website:
“We can confirm that Guglielmo Vicario underwent surgery today (Monday, November 25) for a fracture in his right ankle. The 28-year-old suffered the injury during Saturday’s Premier League victory over Manchester City. “Guglielmo will be evaluated by our medical staff to determine when he can return to training.”
Veteran Fraser Forster, 36, will now have to assume the role of starting goalkeeper.
