This week a new Developers_Direct will be held by Xbox. At the event we will have new information about Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, South of Midnight and DOOM: The Dark Ages. Although at the moment there is no clear information regarding what we will see about these titles, a new rumor indicates that we will know the release date of the next id Software work.
Recently, fans discovered that Gamekult, a French news site, published a note stating that DOOM: The Dark Ages would be available on May 15, 2025. This information has been removed from the site, something that has raised suspicions of more of a person. For their part, Xbox or id Software have not confirmed or denied this rumor.
Many expect Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 and South of Midnight to be available during the first half of this year, so Developers_Direct would be the perfect date for release dates for these three titles to be announced. At the same time, the event has a surprise for us, although at the moment there is no clear information that provides specific data about this additional announcement.

I can’t wait to play DOOM: The Dark Ages already. The last two installments have been phenomenal, and as someone who is not a big fan of FPS, id Software’s work will surely be one of my favorite titles of the year. We can only wait to see if the rumor is true or not.
