Kingdom Come: Deliverance II reveals three expansions

This year is shaping up to be one of the best in terms of video game launches, and the most anticipated title in the month of February is none other than Kingdom Come: Deliverance II, a continuation of that RPG released in 2018. which was characterized by its realistic perspective of the medieval era. And now, shortly before its launch, its developers gave a surprise to those who plan to get the copy and enjoy its large number of hours of content.

Warhorse Studios has revealed that the game will receive a free update in the spring, followed by three narrative content expansions throughout the year:

The first promises to enrich the base experience with a hairstyle changer, an extreme difficulty mode for players looking for additional challenges and horse racing. Shortly after, in summer, Brushes with Death will arrive, a DLC focused on a mysterious artist with an enigmatic past. This fall, Legacy of the Forge will allow players to restore the legendary Kutteberg Forge and experience becoming a blacksmith. Finally, in winter, Mysteria Ecclesia will invite adventurers to explore the Sedletz Monastery and face a deadly disease that threatens to spread.

Although details about the duration of each are still unclear, expectations are high following the success of the original game’s DLC. These will be available through an expansion pass included in the gold edition of this Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, which will have an additional cost of $20 USD. However, individual prices for the DLC have not yet been revealed.

Warhorse Studios seems to be betting heavily on additional content, maintaining the focus on the rich historical narrative that characterized the first title. Fans of the simulation RPG will have plenty of content to discover in the coming months, cementing the sequel as a complete and ambitious experience.
