Tanahun, Nepal: A serious bus accident occurred in Tanahun district on Wednesday, September 11. The incident took near the Khahare Kholsa, connecting Aanbu Khaireni rural municipality wards 2 and 3.
According to local authorities, a bus carrying 15 passengers plunged into the Khahare Kholsa between two old and new bridges. The bus, identified as Ga 1 Kha 9402, was traveling from east to west when the accident happened.
Emergency services responded promptly to the scene, and rescue efforts are currently underway. So far, 11 people have been reported injured. Of those injured, 9 are in stable condition, while 2 have sustained moderate injuries.
