A bus accident in Kirtipur, Kathmandu on Sunday resulted in the death of 42-year-old Govinda Rijal. Three others were injured in the crash.
The passenger bus (BA 3 KHA 2027), traveling the Kirtipur-Ratnapark route, crashed near the Kirtipur Ayurvedic Hospital. Senior Superintendent of Police Dineshraj Mainali confirmed the fatality. Rijal succumbed to his injuries during treatment at Kirtipur Hospital.
The injured include:
- Dumbar Panta (24, Baitadi)
- Bimala Shrestha (24)
- Ramesh Lama (27, bus driver)
Lama was transferred to the trauma center for further treatment.
