Police in Saptari have launched an investigation after the body of a 45-year-old man was discovered in a paddy field near Chhinnamasta Rural Municipality-1, Barahi Birpur.
The deceased has been identified as Pawan Kumar Karna, a resident of Lahan, Siraha. According to Saptari Police Chief SP Gajusiddhi Bajracharya, Karna was employed as a supervisor at a nearby closed brick kiln.
Circumstances surrounding the death remain unclear, and authorities are working to establish the cause of death.
