Bluey has become one of the most successful animated series in the children’s market. Although Disney is not responsible for this production, it does have international broadcast rights, and many associate this program with Disney+. So, it shouldn’t be a big surprise to hear that Bluey is coming to mouse amusement parks.
Through a statement shared at the end of 2024, Disney revealed its plans to integrate Bluey into the Disney Cruise Line, Walt Disney World and Disneyland. Best of all, these plans are already underway, since the cruise in Australia and New Zealand already have this character on board. This is what was said about it:
“Interact with Bluey and her sister, Bingo, like never before. From special encounters to a clue-filled interactive game that ends in a dance party featuring Bluey’s signature moves, families across the region can embark on a magical vacation with their favorite Australian Shepherd dog.”
This is what Disney commented regarding this new collaboration:
“Bluey’s producers, multi-Emmy award-winning studio Ludo, are working closely with BBC Studios and Disney on a series of special activations for fans to enjoy. Details on how guests can meet Bluey and her family at Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort will be shared in the coming months.”
For his part, Josh D’Amaro, president of Disney Experiences, expressed his excitement at the idea of Bluey coming to the parks and said:
“Bluey has become a household name for families around the world and we are thrilled to bring his story to life in new ways. “We can’t wait to see our youngest guests and their families create memories with Bluey in our parks and on our cruises.”
Although the cruises with Bluey are already underway, at the moment it is unknown when this character and his family will arrive at amusement parks in the world, although it is likely that this will happen at some point in 2025. On related topics, Bluey will have his own cereal. Likewise, this was the Christmas surprise for Bluey fans.
