A Bangladeshi citizen is missing after falling into the Bagmati River while taking photos at Sundarijal on Saturday. The Armed Police Force has launched a search and rescue operation involving a team of divers.
According to Armed Police Force spokesperson DSP Shailendra Thapa, a 10-member team, including four divers from the No. 20 Disaster Rescue Team, has been deployed to locate the missing individual.
Four Indians and one Nepali Rescued
In a separate incident, four Indian nationals and one Nepali citizen who went missing in the Rani Jhula forest of Changunarayan Municipality on Saturday evening have been found. The Armed Police Force’s No. 22 Guheshwari Gan team discovered the group at 1:50 PM on Sunday and handed them over to the Kharipati Police Circle.
