Puskar Khatiwada, a well-known astrologer and religious activist, has been detained by the police. The arrest occurred at his home on Monday while he was conducting a ritual involving photos of various leaders, including Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli.
SP Nawaraj Adhikari of the District Police Complex in Kathmandu confirmed that Khatiwada was taken into custody by a team from the Maharajganj police circle. According to Adhikari, the arrest was made in connection with an electronic crime offense.
Following his arrest, Khatiwada posted on social media, stating, “I have just been taken to the police circle of Maharajganj. I wish country is made”
