The world of player representation is increasingly competitive, and it will become even more so from today with the birth of a super agency called AS1. The Bruin Capital fund announces its launch with the acquisition and merger of these four existing ones: Nomi Sports, Position Number, Promoesport and a fourth, Football Division Worldwide, whose purchase is scheduled to close shortly.
As One will thus position itself as one of the top 10 representation agencies, according to the total market value and according to reliable Transfermarkt figures of its represented players.
Ignacio Aguillo, CEO of the new agency.
Ignacio Aguillo, formerly of Atlético, Parma and former CEO of Lens, will be the CEO of As1 and will work directly with the founder and CEO of Bruin, George Pyne, who will also be president of the new agency. AS1 maintains that they will differentiate themselves through their elite services, resources and global reach to support the ambitions and objectives of today’s elite footballers, both in the sporting and business fields, with a strong focus on digital business as well.
In his portfolio he has players such as Bruno Fernandes (Manchester United), Luis Díaz (Liverpool FC), Moisés Caicedo (Chelsea FC), Rúben Amorim (United), Irene Guerrero, world champion with Spain, in addition to the Spanish Carlos Soler and a total of 300 athletes around the world.
The company’s global headquarters will be in London, with offices in Spain, Portugal and the United Arab Emirates. The four founders of the agencies (Raul DaCosta, of Nomi Sports; Miguel Pinho, of Position Number; Rodri Baster, of Promoesport; and Manuel Sierra, of Football Division Worldwide) will continue to lead their respective companies, working directly with Aguillo.
