Kavrepalanchok: A dry landslide has blocked the Araniko Highway in Kavrepalanchok district, disrupting traffic flow in both directions.
The landslide occurred at Tripanna Kilo in Panchkhal Municipality-8 early Saturday morning. According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Rajkumar Shrestha, the highway has been closed since 6 am due to the fallen rocks.
Authorities from the police, local government, and road department are currently working to clear the road and restore traffic movement as soon as possible.
